1. Hyperthyroidism:
Case No: 1 -C. S. a 39 years old female has hyperthyroidism and has been diagnosed with Grave's Disease. Subject signs and symptoms reveal goiter, exophthalmia, and insomnia; and object laboratory analysis indicated elevation of thyroid hormone (T4) and decrease TSH. Conventional pharmaceutical and alternative treatments failed to improve her condition. While she sought Chinese medicine as a last measure prior to possible surgical intervention. C.S. was instructed to take Thyro-H # 450, 2 capsules 3 times daily . After a short period of taking Thyro-H # 450 C.S. noticed significant improvement and reported" less sandy feeling in the eyes, improve sleep habits, increased energy levels and decreased anxiety and irritability, Furthermore, there were no side effects form the herbs whatsoever.
Case No:2 -M.H. a 42 yrs old male have hyperthyroid symptoms almost 1 year with painful, gritty "bug-eyes" for the past 8 months also. T3 and T4 levels in blood sample highly exceeding normal range and TSH was 0.00 There was not much change throughout the year since it was first contracted and prescribed the related medication.
From the ophthalmology side, I have been given prednisolone to relieve the pain in my eyes. About a year ago, I was on 24 tablets @ 5mg each twice daily. The pain wasn't easing away but my body was ballooning from regular 75 kg to 90 kg, until I realized it was not giving any good. I was also given Carbimazole, taken 8 tablets @10 mg each for almost a year, but the bug eyes keep on "swelling from right to left" I started experiencing "double vision" due to the restricted movement of the eye ball and also due to the misalignment of the eyeballs attributed to the swollen eye. With the vision like this, I became dizzy easily when reading and driving. Plentiful of artificial tears needed to be used to prevent dryness of the eyes, frequently use of the artificial tears is unbearable.
By the end of April 2003, with my gritty and watery eyes (due to the "pushed eye balls" to the eye lids), I browsed the internet to seek alternative medicines for the worsen eyes. I have taken homeopathic medications 6 months ago when I stopped taking prednisolone; it has lessened the pain but the bug-eye continue to swell. It was about 2 cm mount from the original feature, swollen entire eye-lid and eye brow forming small mount protruding to about 2 cm.
I Started taking Thyro-H # 450 on May 1, 2003. After 4 days taking the pills, the pain and gritty feelings were gone, although not completely. Only slight pain in the left eye in the morning I wake up from sleep. After 2 weeks, the size of the swollen eyes reduced, which the mount on both eye brows flaccid when the tissue inside retreat. The bug-eyes is now reduced to about half the normal size. How I wish it will really go back to normal.
Before I started taking Thyro-H # 450, I examined my blood samples for TFT. I did the blood test again last week ( after 2 week taken Thyro-H # 450) I was surprised that the T3 and T4 for the first time in more than 1 year were back to normal range. But the TSH remains at 0. 00
Case No 3 : Greetings, We used your Thyro-H # 450 and are very pleased with the results. My thyroid was hyper due to conventional treatment of my Hepatitis C. Peg-Intron. I took it for a year (Jan-Dec2002) and it did not work. Now with your product, my thyroid is back to normal. D. Roberts.
Case No.4 : Hello Doctor: I have bought two bottles of Thyro-H # 450 and started taking the capsules from 10/28/04 for 30 days. My TSH has dropped from 88 to 67 in 30 days. Mario U. in Canada
Case No. 5: Dear Dr.Shen: I have been taking Thyro-H # 450 for 10 days. I had immediate improvement in slowing down of heartbeat, feeling of heat in my back, my frozen shoulder(s) are getting better. I am sleeping at night, my throat feels a lot better. Anna-Marie V in U.K.
Case No 6: I have been using the Thyro-H # 450 on my 19 1/2 year old cat who is hyperthyroid. He has been putting weight back on and is doing great. I did not want to put him on Tapazole as we have had other cats in the past who did not do well on Tapazole. I am going to try to help our neighbors' cat which is hyperthyroid also. The Tapazole is not helping her cat. Thank you for an alternative to regular medications and radioactive iodine and surgery. Nancy H. Virginia Beach, VA

I took methimazole at date 10/13 /2008 to 11/13/2008 and then i stopped it because i had an allergic reaction.
March 3/2009 I started taking THYRO-H so after one month i went to have lab work done. 3/31/2009 that's my result. I sense that my doctor is quite unhappy what am i doing ,she dont advise me to take any natural medications.
in my lab flow sheet dated 2/2/2009 and 3/31/2009 it shows that i have a fully suppressed TSH and normal circulating Thyroid Hormones. They said that it is an autoimmune thyroid disease (grave's disease).so in my case presently a subclinical hyperthyroidism, should i stop taking my THYRO-H? (currently i am still taking my Thyro-H.
My doctor said that is should go on radioactive treatment which is don't like to do it. (from hyperthyroid to hypothyroid forever hormonal replacement)
anything you suggest or advise DR. SHEN. will be a big help for me.
thank you so much and have a nice day,
Helen
